Adam Halioua

Biography

Throughout his entire legal career, Adam has tirelessly advocated on behalf of trauma victims in the province of Ontario. Prior to establishing Goodman Halioua LLP, Adam practiced at Thomson Rogers where he represented the most seriously injured. Adam’s litigation experience includes a wide range of negligence cases and he has a particular interest in those involving head and spinal cord injuries. Adam spent several years with the Brain Injury Association of York Region and is a past President of the organization. During his career, Adam has had the privilege of representing family members who have lost a loved one as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Adam also has significant experience with disability insurance litigation and regularly handles cases where personal injury, disability and employment law intersect.

Adam’s clients are kept informed of the status of their claim and involved from the initial consultation until their claim is successfully resolved. He prides himself on ensuring that his clients receive the best care possible by engaging respected treatment professionals. Adam maintains a thorough knowledge of the law surrounding accident benefits and personal injury litigation through continued attendance at legal conferences and seminars, as well as through membership in various legal organizations.

Adam has presented on the topic of accident benefits to hospital trauma workers and healthcare professionals. Adam’s commitment to continuing education is demonstrated by the firm’s long-standing support of the staff at the University Health Network’s Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. Through its education awards, the firm assists frontline clinicians who wish to advance their knowledge and practice in musculoskeletal, trauma, and multi-system rehabilitation by attending conferences or courses in their field.

Adam obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada. He frequently appears before Tribunals and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice while fiercely advocating on behalf of his clients. When Adam is not working, he enjoys spending time with his young family and playing soccer.
